In India, obtaining a driver’s license is required. According to Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, no one may operate a motor vehicle in public areas unless he has a valid driver’s license. It is prohibited to drive a car, ride a two-wheeler, or operate any other sort of motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Only a person with a valid driver’s license is permitted to operate a motor vehicle of the class type specified on his or her license.
It is suggested to keep your Driving License carefully because of its utter importance but sometimes, no matter how careful we may be in keeping our documents safe, sometimes they are misplaced or lost.
