Whenever you sign up to for eSahayak’s affiliate program you get your own link. It looks something like this “https://esahayak.io/?ref=yournamehere“. (Tip: you can customise this link by going to assets section in your tapfiliate dashboard) You share this link with your audience and when they transact using your link, you earn commission. Pretty neat, right?
But what actually happens? Let’s dive in.
Before we begin it is important that you know that the forms that are listed on eSahayak are actually built on Crove. So, when we click the Generate Now Button we are directed to Crove and all the things that happen thereafter happen on Crove.
Okay, now that little detail is cleared we can start.
When a user clicks on your affiliate link they are directed to eSahayak.io, now you can also customise your link to direct a user to a specific form as well (eg. esahayak.io/forms/driving-license/?ref=yournamehere). How you create a link is up to you.
After clicking the link the user is directed here (If your link directs to a particular form then that page will open)
If you check your dashboard now, it will still show zero clicks.
Why did this happen, even when a customer came to eSahayak using your link? There is a simple answer. Link tracking does not work until a user clicks on Generate Now Button for any form. Remember how I told you that forms are built on Crove, well guess what? The link tracking also happens on Crove.
Let’s understand using an example. This time a user clicks on Generate Now Button.
On clicking this button the user is directed to form filling, which happens on Crove.
An interesting thing will happen now. When you check you tapfiliate Dashboard.
Do you notice the difference? When a user clicks on Generate Now button on a form, and is directed to form filling on Crove only then your affiliate link is traced back to the user and it is reflected on your dashboard.
I hope you were able to understand how affiliate link tracking works on eSahayak.
